One of my favorites from the engagement session from Claire and Brantley. I am excited to take their bridals in a couple weeks. They are a beautiful couple!

MOTHERS & DAUGHTERS
"The noblest calling in the world is motherhood. True motherhood is the most beautiful of all arts, the greatest of all professions."
-President David O. McKay
This Senior Project of mine is close to my heart. I am grateful for the relationship that I have with my mother and I'm excited to one day become a mother. The bond between a mother and daughter is special and I did my best to capture it.
The quotes from the mothers are in response to one of the following questions:
What do you like about being a mother?
What is something you want your daughter to know?
Mothers and Daughters : Katie and Daughters
Sometimes I will cry. Sometimes the tears are sad. I don't
want them to grow up. I want them to stay my babies forever. I want their
voices to stay tiny, forever calling me "momma". I want their hands
to stay dimpled and chubby. I want to play with them and read to them and sing
to them always.
Most times my tears are happy. Happy because I have
been blessed with the opportunity to raise these precious children. Happy
because although they will grow up and leave my care, they will always be mine.
I believe that God has a plan for us and that our family can be together
eternally.
My most earnest desire for my children is that they will experience the love that I have for them. I know what it means to have joy. How many people can truly say that? I want them to have joy. True joy and happiness is in the family. My prayer is that my daughters will choose to be mothers. Nothing in life brings the lasting happiness, the joy, that motherhood brings."
Mothers and Daughters : Kandi, Lauren and Maelie
Kandi : "I want my daughters to know they are cherished, prayed for, and continue to be a joy to me. From the time they were little I have loved their good hearts and bright minds. Each is so unique. They are some of my favorite people on this earth. I feel the same for my son. I feel deeply privileged and profoundly blessed to be their mother."
Mothers and Daughter : Bonnie, Kricket, Annie and Amelia
Kricket : "In Mosiah we're asked to "consider the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God." I know that this is the truth! Life is always better when you're making good choices. We do our best to teach you the gospel because we love you and know it's the way to be happy. I'm excited to spend forever with you, yet wish these childhood days wouldn't slip by so quickly. Love, Mom"
Bonnie : "Who Loves you? is my favorite question to ask you! Your answer is always "Gramma does!" Never ever ever forget that!"
Mothers and Daughters: Susie, Jeanie and Ruby
Jeanie : "I want my daughter to know that her amazingness comes from being a daughter of God."
Susie : "It seems my daughter already knows the most important things. I guess it just want her to keep refining and applying that knowledge."
Mothers and Daughters : Sarah and Owen
Sarah : "Something that I have always hoped I can teach Owen is that she is a daughter of God and that He knows and loves her. I think that if I can teach her that, then she will be able to stand for what's right no matter what other people think or pressure her to do. I want her to know how important she is to Him."
Mothers and Daughters: Lorna and daughters
Lorna : "There is no place in this world I would rather be than in the home. It's where I get the greatest joy. Their laughs are like music. Their hugs make every hard day better. They are my miracles. They are beautiful!"

Mothers and Daughters : Lisa and daughters
Lisa : "I hope my daughters will always remember the goodness they have inside of them and understand the powerful impact their smile, kind words, and love can have on those around them."
Mothers and Daughters : Jodi and daughters
Jodi : "I want my daughters to know something as simple as I love you, but at the same time it is as deep and full as they are everything to me, they are why I am alive they are why I feel so much joy and happiness and they are why I feel so much pain and sorrow. They are my world and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else than here."
Mothers and Daughters : Hannah & Maddy
Hannah to Maddy : I want Maddy to know how much I love her. I think she is the smartest, friendliest, most creative little girl I know. She is such a good big sister and helper at home. I love her so much. Your Heavenly Father loves you and is proud of you too. He is there for you whenever you need Him and so am I. You make me proud every single day.
Mothers & Daughters: Evelyne & Courtney
Evelyne : Everything is gratifying to me to see that all our children are close with each other ad have a great relationship with their brother and sister in-laws and that as a family we all get along and enjoy being with one another. But mostly to see that my children are happy and successful and are good parents to my grandchildren whom I adore.
Courtney : What I admire most about my mom is how hard she has worked her whole life. She is always serving someone, and rarely takes time for herself.
